Our focus for the school year is to make the MN Math Standards understandable for all students.

Here is a little about myself. My husband and I and our two daughters have lived in Hutchinson since 2004. I am originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota, but have also lived in California and Oregon for 17 years.  My husband and I did a lot of hiking in the mountains of Oregon and California.  The Oregon Coast and Willamette Valley are some of my favorite places.  

I have been teaching since 2001. Three years in Oregon and the rest in Minnesota. I attended school in Northern California for my undergraduate degree (Humboldt State University) and then in Oregon (Western Oregon University) for my masters degree. My previous experience includes jobs in accounting, computer support/training and as a travel agent.  I love math and being able to teach it.  

My family and I love to camp in the summer and travel. We spend time with family and friends at many campgrounds around the state of Minnesota. I like to read, hike, run, kayak/canoe and spend time with my family.
