SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DRILL PRESS

1. Use only straight twist bits.

2. Secure small pieces of wood with a clamp or a drill vise.

3. Keep the table clean with a brush.

4. Keep long hair up when in shop. Rings, watches, and gloves should not be worn.

5. Make sure all wrenches are removed before you begin.

6. Be sure the drill bits are not bent so they don’t whip the work.

7. Beware of the costing machine.

8. On deep cuts back out frequently to cool and clean the bit.

9. Drill easily without forcing the bit.

10. Don’t drill through wood and into the table.
