Mariah Lenz-Scherping

Welcome Bulldogs! I am excited to learn and grow together this year.

On this page you will find out more about me, my contact information, and some resources that I think are beneficial to our community.

Hi There!

My name is Mariah Lenz-Scherping (Mrs. Scherping) and I am the Social Worker here at Lester Prairie Schools. In my role, I will be connecting with K-12 students, running lunch groups and teaching the Junior High REACH program. I will also be helping students explore their futures after graduation.

A little about me: I attended the College of St. Scholastica, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Shortly after graduation I obtained my social work licensure through the state of Minnesota. I live in Winsted with my husband and our herd of animals (3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 horse). In my free time I enjoy reading, crafting, horseback riding, exploring state and national parks, and spending time with loved ones.

I am incredibly excited to be here at Lester Prairie Schools, and I look forward to learning and growing with the Bulldog Community!

You can connect with me via email or phone. My hours are 7:30am-1:00pm, Monday-Friday. I will do my best to return every email and phone call within 24 hours.
