Determining who to contact in a school system may sometimes be a bit problematic. To clarify the communication protocol at the Lester Prairie School District, we created this “Chain of Command,” to help determine where to begin the communication sequence regarding a situation or issue that might arise.

Many parental questions are easily and completely answered by communicating directly with the educator in charge of the class or program. Direct communication (“going to the source”) is the most effective communication practice. Each situation should first be addressed at the first level before proceeding to the next level on the chain of command.
